Raising money for Action Medical Research – Race the Sun.
Our very own Technical Director Chris Shuker is taking part in the Race the Sun challenge, to help raise money for the Action Medical Research Charity.
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research to help sick and disabled babies and children.
Chris himself being a father of three understands the importance of children and the helping of such a great charity.
The challenge takes place on the 25th June consisting of teams of four – each team will need to complete cycling, climbing and canoeing starting at sunrise and aiming to finish at sunset. It consists of cycling approx 47 miles, canoeing a 3km course and a round walk of approx 8 miles starting from Brecon South Wales, up to Pen y Fan, then the summit of Corn Du and Cribyn, before heading back to Pontsticill Reservoir and Brecon.
